Question
I dont know if im in the right section or not, but i would like to throw a sweet 16. my birthday is in january and i was thinking of a black/white event, you know where everyone has to dress up really nice and stuff. but i dont know where to host this at. my house is just a typical 2000 squarefoot house, and i would like to rent someplace, but my mom probably wouldnt go for it, unless i found someplace that was resonable.
so what should i do?
what kind of places would be out there to rent that arent really expensive?
or do you have any other ideas that would be cool for a sweet 16?

Answer
HI!

Maybe to throw the party you could rent out something like a community center. Usually those are not too expensive to rent out for a period of time (that is depending on where you live).  I think your idea of the party is a really nice idea though.  Honestly the most important thing for your sweet 16 party is to make sure that you have fun.  Therefore if hosting a party will not work,  you could try going out somewhere interactive.  Once again I'm not too sure on where you live, but where I'm from we have something called Dave and Busters where they have alot of different games you can play and they also have a bowling alley.  By playing different games, you win tickets and can then go to a shop that they have inside, and buy different items.  So that's an idea also.  If you need anything else, feel free to ask!!
