About Dan
Expertise
Being a senior in high school, I have been through it all. I can answer anything from relationship problems to self image issues. I have been to many schools and I know how hard it is to make friends and want nothing more than to be accepted. This has given me first hand experience in the subjects and I want to help you get through whatever your problems are. Ask away.

Experience
I have been a camp counselor several times in the past. Whenever some of the kids I was looking after had a problem they came to me to work it out.

Organizations
Not really religious, but I help out the community church down the road by playing saxophone and piano for them whenever they put on a production.

Education/Credentials
I'm a senior in high school and therefore have first hand knowledge of the subject.

Awards and Honors
I'm an Honor Role student and I received the top academic award for my grade last year.

Question
In High school. Explain to me the whole social life thing. Like talking to people you've never talked to or Meeting new people. How do I get that confidence to just go up to somebody and start talking to them. And do you care at what people think of you. Like if you're talking to someone are you scared sometimes that you might say something wrong.

Answer
Hey

Yeah, meeting new people in high school is tough, but I just put it out of my mind.  I used to be really shy, but as I got older I realized that high school kids like guys that are confident- because everyone in school is so insecure that they're drawn to confidence.  But make sure you don't go over the line into arrogance.  They hate that.

Appear confident.  Say "hello" to everyone.  Make jokes.  Everyone loves a funny guy.  And yeah, you might say something wrong, but everyone does it.  It's no big deal in a conversation if you say something that's kind of cheesy, just make a joke out of it, like "lawl, and that was cheesy".

We all care what people think of us.  I do, too.  Don't worry about it.  Just appear confident and be a nice guy.  Everyone'll love you =)

Hope this helped,
Dan
