About Dan
Expertise
Being a senior in high school, I have been through it all. High school's been the best and worst years of my life. I can answer anything from relationship problems to self image issues. I have been to many schools and I know how hard it is to make friends and want nothing more than to be accepted. I've learned patience and acceptance and I just want to help you guys out in any way I can =) Ask away!

Experience
I have been a camp counselor several times in the past. Whenever some of the kids I was looking after had a problem they came to me to help work it out.

Organizations
Not really religious, but I help out the community church down the road by playing saxophone and piano for them whenever they put on a production.

Education/Credentials
I'm a senior in high school and therefore have first hand knowledge of the subject.

Awards and Honors
I'm an Honor Role student and I received the top academic award for my grade last year (the Dux award).

Question
hi
i am one of the youngest people in my cool and everyone is starting to drive or in drivers ed but me. Everyone is driving or talking about driving. My parents are starting 2 teach me to drive like before i turn 15 but I have never actually drove a car because my parents dont trust me. HELP

Answer
Hey

Well first off it's not really a big deal to not be able to drive right away.  I'm seventeen, three weeks off turning eighteen and I'm only just about to take my first driving test (everyone else took it when they were 15), so yeah, not really that big a deal.

Driving is easy.  You'll get used to it really quick.  Just sit your parents down and ask them seriously if you can just go to an abandoned parking lot or somewhere and practice driving around.  Tell them you understand you're younger than everyone else, but you just want to be prepared.  I'm sure they'll understand and schedule a time that's good for both of you.

Regards,
Dan
