AboutDan Expertise Being a senior in high school, I have been through it all. High school's been the best and worst years of my life. I can answer anything from relationship problems to self image issues. I have been to many schools and I know how hard it is to make friends and want nothing more than to be accepted. I've learned patience and acceptance and I just want to help you guys out in any way I can =)

Experience I have been a camp counselor several times in the past. Whenever some of the kids I was looking after had a problem they came to me to help work it out.
Organizations Not really religious, but I help out the community church down the road by playing saxophone and piano for them whenever they put on a production.
Education/Credentials I'm a senior in high school and therefore have first hand knowledge of the subject.
Awards and Honors I'm an Honor Role student and I received the top academic award for my grade last year (the Dux award).
Question hey thanks for before
i just wanted to know that is it ok for me to take up science non-medical next year(11th grade) i have been studying been studying so far english(language and literature),french,maths(algebra,geometry,calculus,trigonometry,statistics,probability),hist,geog,economics,civics,bio,phy,chem, and computer programing and disaster management.
after my boards this year i'll have to choose my future subjects bet. science non medical(phy,chem, maths), arts(history geog), medical(phy, chem, bio),political science and commerce.(finance, eco)
i always had the liking for science and maths so i so far have been thinking of taking up non medical science but the funny thing is that even though i LOVE these subjects(physics chemistry maths) am soo scared of them.
i don't know why i am scared am good at them, their my best subjects. especially maths, i LOVE it but am dead scared of it. i am able to solve i mean my finals last year i scored a full 100 in maths. my parents and teachers tell me i have nothing to worry and i can relax i tell that too but my heart doesn't listen. DAMMIT! WHY AM I SOOO SCARED AND NERVOUS!!!!
my friend form the 11th grade who have taken up non-medical science are telling me that its a totally different level of maths and physics and they find a thought time scoring, many even changed to commerce or arts.(they too were math lovers like me!)
my good in arts subjects and eco too but i don't have any interest in them especially history! and they don't scare me at all!
could you tell me why i am sooo scared of my fav subjects? i don't want to take the wrong decision because it will hinder my future.
should i take up science non medial? am from a family of engineers and doctors so they expect me to take it too.
i want to too but am scared!!! please help!

Well that's a fairly simple answer. What do you enjoy doing? Doesn't matter if it scares you, in fact, that might just be because you want to do so well in it that you're scared of not performing to your best. You've gotta do what you love to do. Whatever makes you happy. Because your job is going to be your job for a looooong time and you gotta enjoy doing whatever it is that you're doing.
