AboutDan Expertise Being a senior in high school, I have been through it all. High school's been the best and worst years of my life. I can answer anything from relationship problems to self image issues. I have been to many schools and I know how hard it is to make friends and want nothing more than to be accepted. I've learned patience and acceptance and I just want to help you guys out in any way I can =)

Experience I have been a camp counselor several times in the past. Whenever some of the kids I was looking after had a problem they came to me to help work it out.
Organizations Not really religious, but I help out the community church down the road by playing saxophone and piano for them whenever they put on a production.
Education/Credentials I'm a senior in high school and therefore have first hand knowledge of the subject.
Awards and Honors I'm an Honor Role student and I received the top academic award for my grade last year (the Dux award).
Question So I'm a junior in high school and I have had trouble making friends ever since I've been in this bad stage in my life when I was really really sad. Now I'm happier and more positive but I've realized that I really have like no friends. And when I say friends I mean people I talk to about everything and hang out with and text and everything. And I would like to make more friends. And there's this one girl in particular that I wanna be friends with. I see her everyday almost because she's on a sports team that I'm a manager for. And I talk to her and tell her how good she does in games and I've even commented her on facebook before and had a conversation. So how do I continue this and make the friendship stronger? What is the next step in making her a closer friend?

Well just keep doing exactly that! Keep facebooking, being friendly, and don't worry so much about it! Seriously, it's all in your head. If you're friendly and nice to people, they'll want to be your friends. You've just gotta give it some time and keep being positive. You'll be right back in it in no time =)
