About ImmortalJedi
Expertise
I`ve been an avid fan of both the television and the movie series since 1992. I have every episode on tape, read the books, and even play the Highlander trading card game. The one area I`m shaky in is the Raven spin-off series.

Experience
I don't have any "official" experience, but if a friend ever missed an episode or had a question about something, I was the one they turned to. I'm also a teacher, so hopefully I'll be able to answer all questions for you clearly. Unless I am away for a weekend, I can guarantee answers within 48 hours, seeing as I check my e-mail every night, unless something comes up where I won't be home.

Highlander - Highlander Books

Question
Hi ImmortalJedi,

I'm trying to track down all the Highlander books (original stories based on the series). Here's what I've found so far... Shadow of Obsession, White Silence, The Captive Soul, Scimitar, Measure of a Man, The Path, Zealot, Scotland the Brave, and The Element of Fire. Am I missing any? The book I just bought, White Silence, advertised one called Barricades, but I have yet to find that or any others in the series (except those listed above) in any of the bookstores or websites I've looked at. Just curious, as I'm attempting to find/buy all the books. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Laura

Answer
Hi Laura! You have all the current Highlander novels. Although Barricades was advertised, it was never released. Last I heard, they were going to release it around the time "Highlnder:Endgame" was released, but here we are a year later, and still no book. There are two other Highlander books out there, though they aren't like the ones you already have. One is the Complete Highlander Watcher's Chronicles, and that basically discusses life on the set, and the whole Highlander myth and legend. The other is callled Highlander:An Evening At Joe's. In this book, cast members and others who were invloved in the series each write short stories. Some are Highlander related, while others are not. Some are only 2 pages, while some are longer. As for my personal opinion, both books are worth having, but I found myself not enjoying every short story in "Evening At Joe's". Hope I helped!

Charley
