Highlander/Highlander episode

Question
There was a great episode in the Highlander TV series, which featured a rather charismatic evil Immortal who managed to subvert a  very attractive female police detective(with black hair), she fell in love with him, and he then kills her shortly before he gets killed by McLeod. The evil immortal had a career as  some sort of professional assassin. Which episode did he appear in, and what was the actor's name and the name of the actress who played the detective?

Also, was there ever any supernatural explanation for why the dead headless  bodies didn't constantly get found by the police? Are they supposed to rot to dust  instantly once beheaded? And can an Immortal behead another Immortal and get his/her energy when the latter Immortal has been (temporarily) killed, or does he have to wait until the other Immortal comes back to life?  And what actually is supposed to happen if one Immortal beheads another Immortal in a holy place?  Oh, and is the "prize" the same in the TV series as in the film version?

Also, is season 6 of Highlander really worth buying for DVD? I've heard it's really bad. I've only seen most of the  episodes from the first 4 series.
(I like asking such questions as I feel that even a fantastical premise like Highlander needs to be relatively coherent in order to make a true story.)

Thanks for answering,
Geoff

Answer
The bodies are found by police or someone all the time, but because of the limited timeframe for the show, it is not refered all the time.  There are mentions in several episosdes of multiple bodies with no heads being found, but that is all.

Technically, a person could behead another imortal and gain the quickning, but it would be nearly impossible to find such a moment, when they are dead but not beheaded.
