I believe the soundtrack for the first movie was all by Queen -- you will find the songs in their album "A Kind of Magic" (1986), included "Who Wants to Live Forever", "Gimme the Prize" (The Kurgan's theme), "Don't Lose Your Head" and "Princes of the Universe" (also the opening theme of the TV series).
Concerning the best price... You can find several places that have the CD -- cdnow.com, amazon.com, cduniverse.com, buy.com -- where the CD costs about $14.00 or $15.00, plus shipping and handling; you can also try ebay.com
