Question
How does one know what stage they have reached in the spiritual ladder - not by your own efforts in this life but from the knowledge already gained from previous births?

Answer
Dear Krupa,

In most cases, one will not know. That is why  we need a teacher to guide us. The teacher will be easily identify what progress you have made and what your next steps are. You may choose any teacher. Even if you start with a wrong teacher it is fine. If you find the teachers suggestions logical and appealing to you then you can be sure that teacher is the right teacher for you.

Thanks for asking this question. If you need more clarifications please do not hesitate to ask.

Best wishes,
