Question
sir,can self realization be obtained without guru??
can gita alone make that happen or which other scriptures should be studied systimatically??

Answer
Dear Ajay,

It is very rare to obtain self-realization without a guru. Very few people like Ramana Maharishi have attained it. In general, a guru is required for self-realization.

Gita alone is not sufficient. One has to study Upanishads as well. What exactly need to be taught is decided by the guru.

For my students I start with Gita, then Jeeva Yatra, Sadhana Panchakam and finally end with Panchadashi.

Thanks for asking this question. If you need more clarifications, please do ask.
