Question
NAMASTE SIR, ACTUALLY IAM DEVOTEE OF LORD KRISHNA.IN OUR CULTURE WE ARE BELIEVING THAT ONE GUY SHOULD HAVE ONLY ONE WIFE.BUT MANY OF THE DEITIES ARE HAVING 2 WIVES.WHAT ARE THEY INDICATING THROUGH THIS? IS THAT A SIN TO ASK THIS QUESTION WHICH IS BLAMING ABOUT GOD?

Answer
Dear Chitra,

Thank you for your question.

Sri Krishna himself had 1000 wives. Mariage customs change over time. These are cultural not religious, even when religious ritual is involved in marriage. In any case, there is nothing you can say or think about God that He has not already thought himself through millions of minds over countless millenniums, so you need not worry. God is unconditional Love.

Best wishes,
