Dear Raja sir
Will meditation lead to enlightment?
Why a meditator is not able to digest instances in material life? viz luxury or fancy
Why meditator is not entertained for meditating by his family members, thinking they will loose the person or his support?
Is it necessary to perform meditation continously even after enlightment?
Since you have asked multiple questions let me give you short answers to them. If you need detailed answer post one short question. Thanks.
Q: Will meditation lead to enlightenment?
Ans: YES, IT WILL, provided the preceding six steps are done properly and under guidance. ALL meditation techniques that are prevalent in the world today have their orgin in Ashtanga Yoga which lists out EIGHT steps to SAMADHI. Meditation is the SEVENTH step. Therefore, meditation SHOULD NOT BE DONE prior to completion of the previous six steps. If done as the seventh step it will lead to enlightenment.
Q: Why a meditator is not able to digest instances in material life? viz luxury or fancy
Ans: Depends on what stage you are. The purpose of enlightenment is to live joyfully enjoying the material comforts. So meditation and luxury can coexist.
Q: Why meditator is not entertained for meditating by his family members, thinking they will loose the person or his support?
Ans: This is due to ignorance. People suffer all the time. Only when someone realizes that they are suffer, they will turn towards meditation.Only those who get enlightened are qualified to enjoy the sense pleasures. For others it will be a cause for suffering.
Q: Is it necessary to perform meditation continuously even after enlightenment?
Ans: Living is meditation after enlightenment. After enlightenment one may or may not sit, closing the eyes for sometime. This is optional depends on the personality of the enlightened person. But without any exception all enlightened persons perform meditation 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, till death.
