Question
Dear Brother William

Is Kaikeyi's character in Ramayana Epic good or bad?

Thanks
Prashant

Answer
Dear Prashant  S Akerkar,

Thank you for your question.

Kaikeyi's character, driven by raw ambition for her son regardless of consequences for others, is villainous. But every good story needs a good villain to move the plot forward. As instruments of Bhagavan's Lila, Divine Play, Kaikeyi's character and her hurtful actions are necessary.

Best wishes,

Brother William
