I'm filming a short movie and I need an American revolutionary soldier costume. Do you know anyone I could contact about this?

This is outside my expertise as I am a Civil War expert,but I'll take a stab at it. You did not say where you are from as that governs availability. If it were me I would try one of these sites http://www.revwar.com/reenact/ or http://www.reenactor.net/colonial/rev_war.html. The uniform will probably come with a reenactor but what the heck you can ask. There are several shops that sell them if you have the funds and have a permanent use for it.
