Question
I was wondering what the stats are on total NHL regular goals, versus powerplay goals, versus shorthanded goals. It often feels like getting a powerplay can act as a disadvantage if only because of a free icing. How can I find the stats on powerplays?

Answer
James,

Interesting question. Go to this link.

http://www.nhl.com/stats/player?reportType=season&report=skatersummary&season=20

Then, place your mouse pointer on each of the white categories about the stats and you will see a pop-up window for each column.  I hope this answers your question.
