Answer Unfortunately there is no sure fire way to put on weight - as alot of it will have to do with your metabolism... my son (now 20) was 5' 7 150 pounds at 15 - he's eaten a ton of protein, carbs, weight gain products and tried dozens of plans - and he's now 5' 8 - 165 pounds. HIS METABOLISM is still way too high.
He's still looking for answers as HE too could use some extra pounds as he play Junior hockey and will be going to College next year.
I'd suggest you consult with your physician who maybe can help you depending on your metabolism.
As for work outs -- you should be doing a combination of weight training - ask you high school football and / or weight lifting coach if you can work out with his guys.... alot of hockey players do that...
AND then google PLYOMETRICS on the internet and start doing some of those drills (if your hockey coach is not doing any of that with your team already!)... these are a must to increase and maintain your explosiveness, endurance and resistance to injuries.
One last thing -- ENJOY THE PROCESS... if you feel stressed out or "hate" working out - it will have adverse effects that can lead to injuries, depression and anxieties.
