AboutBob Sponaugle Expertise I can answer any question related to outdoor Christmas and Halloween decorating. It can range from the technical, as far as problems with wiring, how to fix light sets. It can also be asthetic, as far as color combinations, etc.
Experience I have been decorating since I was 7 years old. I set up Christmas displays with over 8000 lights, tastefully done.
Awards and Honors I have won neighborhood decorating contests since I was 14 years old
My wife unfortunately disconnected every cord on our prelit tree last year and now I am totally confused on which plug goes where, and she threw away the tree instructions, so I am yet at another total loss! I tried to go online to see if I could actually download some instructions but was unable to find any instructions. If you might possibly give some expert advise on this Holiday mishap, I would greatly appreciate it!
Thanks!
Paul
Answer Hi.
Usually the cords will reach only one place.
What you want to avoid is plugging too many lights together and blowing the fuse. You can buy an extension cord with 3 taps and a total of 9 plugs, and just plug the plugs into it. That way you won't overload anything.
