Question
Hi! I hope that you are fine! I have an opportunity to go on a date with a very nice lawyer.  However, could he be my legal counsel in the future? Is this a possible conflict? Thanks!

Answer
It's possible he could represent you in the future but you might be better served having one of his lawyer friends take your case up instead;  this way if things don't work out for you on the personal level so what, but if he's also your attorney of record, it makes it extremely difficult to continue working with someone who was formerly a social and business associate and is now the latter only.  I'd see where things go with a view that he won't be representing you in his official capacity.  Good luck!
