Subject: A GOOD HOT DOG
Question Hello Mike
I live in Nashville, TN. & can't seem to find any specialty restaurants/drive ups which sell or specialize in great hot dogs...you know, like those big beef hot dogs about twice the size of a standard Field's or Eckerd's brands or maybe what one might call an old fashioned hot dog. Even Sonic's and DQ's hot dogs don't seem that great unless they have chili and cheese on them.
I bought a big wonderful tasting beef hot dog at a truck stop East of here on I-40, but the lady said you can't buy em at a store. I can't figure out why since they sure taste better than any I've ever bought at a store.
All I ever see at Krogers or Food Lion are the standard size hot dogs that taste as though they've been made out of vegetables or something else besides meat.
I would greatly appreciate to know if in your experience you have come across any good places to order by mail or online some great hot dogs.
Thank you very much.
Mike E.
Answer Hi Mike and thanks for the interesting question....I am a hot dog fan myself. I live in Canada and the best hot dog here has to be from Costco, their all beef dog...you could try Costco there to see if they carry them. I know they sell them in their little food kiosk. Good Luck and sorry I can't be of more help...
Cheers
Mike
