Home Improvement (the TV Show) - Final episode song

Expert: Luke - 3/22/2000

Question
This might be a long shot, but I am looking for the song that was played on the final episode.  It is called "We`ve Got It All"  and I believe that it was sung by Kenny Rogers.  Do you have any idea where I might find a copy of it, or a web site where I could download a MP3 file of it?  Any ideas you could give me would be helpful.

Answer
Hi Emily,
"We've Got It All" was written by Kenny Rogers specifically for the finale of "Home Improvement".  Therefore, the song is only available on a rare promo CD single for the show.  This is auctioned off from time to time at eBay (www.ebay.com) but since this is such a popular song, the CD usually goes for as high as $30 or more.  Quite a bit of money for one song.  That is your best bet, if you really are worth paying that much for the song.  I am interested in getting an MP3 of the song, but I have not found any yet.  The best source for downloading MP3s is a program for Windows users called Napster (www.napster.com), but even on that no body has it yet.  You can try e-mailing winning bidders of the CD and see if they'll make an MP3 of the song for you.  If not, your only way to get the song is to bid with a lot of money late in the game for the auction.  Hope this helps.  Thanks for the question.

P.S. Lyrics to the song are available at my "Home Improvement" site...
