Subject: Recording guitar into Ableton Live 6 w/ pedal +midi cable

Question
Do you know how to record guitar into Ableton Live 6 using an effects pedal which I connect to the computer through a USB MIDI cable? (Guitar connects to pedal-MIDI cable connects to pedal- and goes to USB port on computer). I can't figure it out.

Answer
Hey Chris, your USB pedal should show up in Live's preferences as an input. Just select it as the input you want to use & then it should show up in the track window when you want to record. Hope that helps, if you have any other questions, just drop me a line.
Peace - J.
