Question hello,
i'm a newb at all these things to start out with....
And i dont know where to start... so this is gonna sound little random....
And i'm thinking of buying a proper recording equipment for me to record....
So far, I've come up with a PG58... I know it's nt the best.. but it's decent for me because i'm only a highschool student....
And I'm trying to get an audio interface for this...
I've looked at Maya 44 USB, and Fast track pro USB...
I also hear that ESI Juli@ is good....
I was wandering what kind of audio interface you would be kind enough to recommend it to me...
I am not only recording vocals, but also in DJing...
Didnt buy the equipments yet, but i'm planning to.....
I hear that Maya 44 doesn't have a mic pre-amp so i cant really stick a microphone cord into it....
I would like to have my audio interface to be USB because I'm recording it on my laptop....
I would like for the price range to be less than $150....
And please recommend me a good website to buy the recording equipments from....
soooo to sum up my questions
1.)Recommendations of audio interface (USB, for recording vocals and DJing)
2.) Recommendation of a good website for buying equipments...
thank you,
Answer Presonus and Tascam both make capable audio interfaces in your price range. As far as one website for your gear, I personally would shop several and see who has the specific piece of equipment for the cheapest, a sale, free shipping, etc. Try Musician's Friend, ZZounds, B&K, Guitar Center, Amazon. All have a good selection, but certain items are cheaper at certain sites. You just have to shop them.
