About Larry A. Staffen
Expertise I worked in Hollywood Ca. for 17 years as a recording engineer/musician. My forte is in
analog recording (such as tape editing, bias, record/repro alignment, multi-track, mixing,
so much more). As a musician, I also played guitar, keyboards, vocals, music arranging
and occasional trumpet. I was quite busy! But due to health problems... here I am! I can
respond in one to two days. Care to all, Larry

Question I am a high school student that is looking into recording arts. What is the best equipment that I should buy to start learning and making my own music?
Answer Hi Jasmine - Look into Ebay for best deals. Sweetwater or Musicians Friend are catalogs on line also to name a few.Korg d8 and Roland are popular. These are digital recording machines. They are without drum machines or microphones, which have to be purchased separately and can be pricey. Good luck with your venture!
