analog recording (such as tape editing, bias, record/repro alignment, multi-track, mixing,
so much more). As a musician, I also played guitar, keyboards, vocals, music arranging

QUESTION: hi,
i wanna record my song at home and send it for a demo .
so,what things i need to record it.CAN i connect the big microphone to my pc?
ANSWER: Hi Ashutosh, The "big microphone" won't be enough to hook up... you'll need a mixing console before hooking up to your computer. I don't understand your situation. Send me more info.

Hi Ashutosh, This isn't a simple process. With what you've got, you can record a basic guitar-vocal and that's it. You'll have to purchase a microphone adapter transformer and a converter cable (from 3 pin XLR to 1/8" mini plug). The folks at Radio Shack or the like should be able to assist you. Good luck with your mission!
