Question Good Day Brad and Hello from Canada. Recently purchased my ART Tube MPC Project Series and am still learning about it. I am using Cakewalk Music Creator 4 as my program on a brand new Toshiba laptop. No other "crap" is installed and I shut down my wireless connection prior to use. My problem, regardless of insrument used, ie Keyboards, Bass etc., I get a non-rythmic, interference type "noise" on playback. My gain is set low and there is no "clipping" and the waveform graphic confirms this. My man at the music store thinks it might be PC related, ie cache or RAM memory. All very frustrating. Any ideas?
Thanking you in advance

Answer What audio interface are you using? Are you using an approved firewire hard-drive for audio instead of the internal drive? Honestly, Toshiba laptop computers are far from ideal---but if you have it, you need to make it work. If you're using the internal soundcard, that is a huge contributor to the problems.
