I just won a bid on ebay and received the Philips HTS 3555/37 home theater system. Somehow the speakers that came with the system do not enter the rear jacks to connect them. The number on the back of each speaker reads CS 3555 E.  I have called Philips support about it and they gave me a part number for the speakers that is nowhere to be found. They couldn't help me with that number(CS 3555) which shocks me. They say that it is impossible for that to happen so they think that the seller sent me a wrong set of speakers.  I have tried to look all over the Internet to see if the set of speakers belongs to another model but I have been unable to do so.  Every photo that I have of the system seems to be the right speakers for it. The seller says they are the right ones. But reality is that the plugs and the jacks do not fit. What should I do? Disregard the plugs? The cables on the speakers seem to be very long even for the front speakers. Is there a possiblity that they have been changed?  Thanks for any help.

Below is the link for the manual for your system.
What I saw, is that the speakers have a molded color coded connector that connects on the back of the receiver.
If you do not have theses connectors on your receiver, you have the wrong speakers.
