Question
We have a Panasonic TC-P42X1 TV, a Samsung HT-TZ515 Digital Home Theater System and Direct TV Plus Receiver. We get excellent sound out of the home theater system when watching videos. How do we watch TV and get the sound out of the home theater system? We have an HDMI cable and a digital optical cable.

Hello Kerri,
You need to connect audio out of Direct TV receiver to your Samsung HT's TV audio in.
It could be an optical, digital co-axial or RCA.
Please check at the back of your Direct TV Receiver and determine what matches with your Samsung's TV audio input. That's the connection you will use.
