Question
We have a Sony Home Theatre System (Model # STR-K650P) and we just purchased a 50" Samsung Plasma TV (Model # PN50B550T2F) and a Samsung Blu-Ray Disc Player (Model # BD-P1600.  Will this home theatre system work with this?

Answer
Hello Karen,
It should.
First thing you need to do is look at your "IN" and "OUT" connections on your SONY, TV and DVD player.
If your Sony has HDMI inputs and it should have 2 and should have a single output
You need to connect that HDMI OUT to TV HDMI IN.
Then connect your DVD player's HDMI OUT to SONY DVD HDMI IN.
If you do not have HDMI?
Please contact me and I will give further instruction to get this system working.
Thanks

Any question regarding Home Theater Systems. What to buy? How to do the hookup and troubleshoot. (Only surround sound hook up) Please note that I am not a technician. I do not do projectors. When sending me questions, please make sure you provide me with as much information on your equipment as possible. I would like to know on each equipment you are connecting, if you have HDMI, Optical and or Digital Coaxial ports and how many. Do not forget to include make and model of your equipment......Thanks
