Question
new panasonic hdtv
dish hd dvr
pioneer dvd reciever with sur sound - no hdmi
dish to tv hdmi cable input- hdmi 1
reciever to tv -component and audio cables -input- component 1
tv works fine
dvds work fine with sur sound
cant get surround when watching tv
used to be able to change input on pioneer remote to tv and it would work
what am i missing?

Hello Bobbi,
Without  inputs and outs on your system or at least you should have given the model numbers of your equipment, I am sorry I can not answer your question.
I require that you tell me what ports you have on your equipment you intend to connect. If not give me a model number of the equipment you need to connect.
