Question
Hello sir, In april 2008 my wife was diagnosed with interstitial nephritis of chronic nature. her creatinine was 3.4 and albumin in urine was ++++. We tried alopathy which has further degraded her immune system and she was partially paralysed. Now she is undergoing homeopathic treatment in which she got a stringent diet regime. we dont know the contents of these medicines. her creatinine is fuctuating in between 8 to 10 and her BUN also varies from 45 to 60 . also her hemoglobin fuctuates from 8 to 9. I juss wanted to know how long it will take for her to get cured completely so that she can live a normal life, have a normal diet etc.

Answer
Dear Deepak
Duration of treatment and time needed for cure totally depend on the patient, seriousness of complaint, patients condition, the power of the immune system, correctness of the homoeopathic remedy prescribed, the method of prescription of the remedy and application of remedy etc. In your wife’s case I am not aware of any of the above thing; I do not wish to give any wrong opinion without understanding anything of the case. If the prescription is correct you will find changes soon. Kindly discuss with the doctor you are currently consulting

Kindly note: - For a good Homoeopath it is not possible to give prescriptions or name of medicines just by detail of disease. For a prescription a detailed patient oriented case taking is needed irrespective of the disease.
