ANSWER: Pretty High, almost all their cars, except thr s2000 have 5 star safety rating.

QUESTION: I don't think you really understand what I mean.  I mean... How many airbags does the car need to have?  How bad is the crash when the airbag pops out?

Answer
Safety is not just measured with the number of airbags  but a multitude of factors such as the safety cage, the impact crumple zones and the overall integrity of the safety cage. A car not only has to be able to withstand an impact, but also be able to divert or absorb energy so it does not get directly transfered to the passengers.

As for airbags, the Honda website would be more of a better source for the amount each model posseses.. The airbags are controlled by impact sensors that are activated depending upon impact angle and velocity of the object hitting it.
