Question
I'm having electrical issues. I just put in a new starter and battery but my car still wont turn over. The dash lights start dim and slowly get brighter and sometimes they start lit but when I turn the key theres a click and nothing, everything goes dead and it goes back to the dim lights slowly going bright.

The way you describe the problem I think the "Martians" have had something to do with this.......Lol
Joking aside, check and make sure all the engine compartment Grounds wires are tight & free of any corrosion.
Get back with me later.
In the meantime I will do some research on this one.
