Honda Repair - 94 accord ex Speed sensor location

Expert: Ara - 2/25/2008

Question
Can you tell where the Speed sensor is located, per the web, its supposed to be under the thermostat housing on the transmission, for some reason I can't find it.

Answer
It is located right atop the transmission above the differential area.
It has a three pin connector going to it.
It may be black if is the original one, or silver if it has been replaced before.
Stand on the passenger side of the vehicle, with the hood open & securly up.
Get a "Bright" flash light, shine it right below the intake air tube.
You will eventually see it. It is not visible to the naked eye due to the tight/dark area.
You will recognize it once you see the three 6mm bolts that are holding it on the transmission & also the connector lock bracket on top of it.
