Honda Repair - 97 honda passport stalls when driving

Expert: Bill Sachs - 12/7/2005

Question
My Honda Passport began stalling when slowing down yesterday.  I hit a pretty nice sized bump in the road about 2 hours prior to this starting.

Is there anything I can look for or at that I may be able to fix without having to take it to the SHOP!  Money is tight right now and I would rather not go in debt for something I can fix.

Answer
Mahone:
The first thing I would check is fuel delivery to make sure you are getting the proper fuel pressure to the injectors. If you can rule out the fuel problem then it has to be in the ignition system. Check the wiring to make sure there are not any corroded wires in the starting system. Check the plugs and plug wires to make sure they are good. Hard to say if the bump in the road is related.
Sorry I can’t be of more help
Bill
