About Bill Sachs Expertise I am a backyard mechanic working on several Honda Accords. I have worked on `87, `89, and two `00 Accords. I have been working on Accords since 1993.
Experience I have experience in electrical, basic mechanical and maintenance. I have kept two Accords alive for over 230,000 miles ('87 & '89).
I also own two 2000 Accords and a 1995 Integra along with a 1993 Toyota Corolla. I do a lot of the work and all the maintenance on these cars.

I had this same problem with my 92 Accord. I would insert my key and it would NOT turn. Turns out that the actual key had simply worn out over time. My very trusted Honda mechanic purchased new keys for me. Problem solved! No problem since. I was out a whole $5 bucks!
