Question
"Hi JRA, thank you for taking the time for my question.
My husband and I are traveling from Canada on motorcycles through your wonderful land.  Was wondering if you had any advice on border crossings either entering or leaving your country.  Any do's and dont's etc.  Required information other than providing passport and ID etc.?  Please advise.
Thank You,
Cheryl and Leo from Canada"

Answer
Hi,

You should be very careful not to stop to exchange any currency and to keep valuables hidden.

Be careful of strangers since there are bands of thieves that may follow you once you leave the crossing. I have heard of such bands following people when leaving Honduras to Guatemala.

You will probably have to buy a permit for your motorcycles so  try to find out how much it is before hand so you have the cash ready.  Make sure you have the necessary documents in hand.

Have a nice trip.
