Question
Would it be a good idea to stay in a couple of places.
Eg:- The Lodge at Le Ceiba and then go to Utila?
They seem quite close - is this correct? Also would you spend a night in San Pedro - if so where would you stay?
thanks for your help

Question -
Looking for a quiet beach cabana/chic style eco-resort for x-
mas/new years. Any suggestions?

Answer -
Hi, You can check out "The Lodge at Pico Bonito" near La Ceiba or Laguna Beach resort in Utila.  Las Rocas resort in Roatan is also a cabana style hotel. I think that you will find what you're looking for in any othese three resorts.

Have a nice trip and good luck.

Answer
I think that it would be a great idea to stay at both places! Utila is only about a 90 minute ride on the ferry from La Ceiba or a 20 minute plane ride.

In San Pedro Sula you have many options: Hilton Princess, Intercontinental, Holiday Inn, Hotel Copantl, Hotel Sula. These are all nice hotels and the prices don't vary much for one or the other.  For visitors San Pedro is mostly used as a hub city from where you an take tours to different locations; however it is one of the the nicest cities in Honduras and it wouldn't be a bad idea to check it out.

Have a nice trip!
