Question Can you tell me how many Canadian cigarettes we are allowed to bring into Roatan? We will be staying in Roatan for the Month of December/07, I am having difficulty deciding how much money to bring. Do we bring US travellers' cheques? Are they easy enough to cash wherever we go, eg: tour operators, grocery stores, souvenir stores. How reliable are the ATM's?
Answer My guess is you can probably bring two cartons with no problems. Honduran cigarettes are really cheap though, you could give them a try!
ATMs are reliable as are travelers checks, you can cash those in at your hotel. I would recommend bringing US dollars or Euros as you will need to pay for some stuff with cash.
