Honduras - Studying in Honduras

Question
Hi, I was wondering if you knew anything about colleges in Honduras. I am about to graduate from highschool here in the U.S and I am a U.S citizen, but I want to try something new and go to college in La ceiba, honduras but I wanted info on if I study there, and I come back years later to the U.S if my degree or college credits will count over here in the U.S for me to get a job. And also, if you knew if there was a special permission for a U.S citizen to stay longer than 90 days in Honduras for study reasons, or better yet to live? Thank you!

Answer
Yeah, don't come to college in Honduras. Your degree would be useless in the US.  There are no good colleges in La Ceiba.  To goto the University you'd have to live in San Pedro Sula or Tegucigalpa.  I think that you DO need a permit to stay for more than 30 days although I am not completely sure.
