Question
I have a new Aunt from Honduras and she is trying to get her kids to travel from San Pedro Usla...I think thats how you spell it?...and we looked up airport fares and they are just too expensive.  My question is there a bus service that travels from that city to Houston, TX?  If so could you please give me the info and if not can you tell me another means by which they can travel to Houston, TX?

Thank you,
Benny

Answer
Hi Benny,

The city is San Pedro Sula.
Houston is one of the most expensive flights that you can buy.  There are no buses that travel from Central America to the USA.  What she can do is purchase plane tickets to Miami which will run you around $300 depending on the travel dates and they can take a bus from Miami to Houston. (I'm guessing about a 2 day trip)  Another option would be flying to New Orleans which is less expensive than Houston as well.

I hope that this helps.
