Honeymoons - Budget Travel

Expert: Cindy Grant - 2/27/2008

Question
I want to travel to a place in mid August of 2008. I live in Pennsylvania. The typical trip around here is to visit the New Jersey beaches, which to me is not ideal. Anyways, I have a budget of 1500-1800 dollars, which would include, airfare, food, entertainment, hotel, etc.I have a wife and I would like to take her somewhere romantic, clean, quiet, where good food and such can be appreciated. If possible by a body of water or a mountain range or an awesome culture, if possible all three. Let me know what you think.

Answer
Roughly within your budget, I can recommend Florida beaches (Tampa/St. Pete, Ft. Lauderdale, or Miami), Puerto Rico, Bahamas, Punta Cana, and possibly Mexico's caribbean coast.  These destinations may or may not be within budget, depending on availability, number of nights, departure airport, and quality of resort you require.  Puerto Rico would be a good choice in terms of mountain range, body of water, and awesome culture.

If you'd like actual package quotes, you can contact me directly.

Have a good trip!
