Question
Cindy,
My fiance and I are looking for an exclusive honeymoon with an adult setting and privacy, hopefully tropical.  I know our options are limited to our timing (Sept 28-Oct.7)
Any thoughts? Our budget is around $6000

Thanks for your help.

Answer
Hi Bryan,
I'm not exactly sure from where you are departing, so I am going to assume from mid-US.

When you say an exclusive honeymoon, do you mean one that affords extra privacy and service, or do you mean all-inclusive, as in a honeymoon with the meals, snacks, beverages, some activities included in the price?

For an all-inclusive honeymoon within your budget, I would say the Caribbean (Jamaica, Antigua, Bahamas, St. Lucia) or Mexico (Cancun, Riviera Maya, Cabo or Puerto Vallarta).  If you are saying exclusive, as in privacy with exclusive service levels etc, then I would also include Turks/Caicos and some of the other smaller islands in the Caribbean.

Tahiti is an excellent choice for a honeymoon, though might push your budget a bit.  Also Hawaii, which is generally less expensive than Tahiti.  However, Tahiti and Hawaii do not have all-inclusive resorts.

In Sep-Oct timeframe, while the temperatures are nice and tropical, you will be traveling during hurricane season in the Caribbean or Mexico, so I do advise that you purchase travel insurance.

If you would like any honeymoon quotes or specifics, feel free to contact me directly at 972-625-6200 through my travel agency Expert Family Travel.

Good luck and enjoy your trip!
