Question
Hi,

I'm planning for a honeymoon trip sometime in december, so I'm looking for
some options... a warm weather location with good food and wine, beach
and/or spa facilities...if a resort, it would also be great if sightseeing outside
the resort is convenient.  Thanks!

Answer
Hi Jamieson,

First of all congratulations!!!  I would love to help you with your honeymoon plans.  First you have to look at the area you are departing from and how long you want to stay.  I could suggest Hawaii, Jamaica, St Lucia, Cancun Mexico and Riviera Maya area of Mexico but if you only plan for 3 - 4 nights then  you need to keep your total flight time to 4 hours.  Otherwise you are wasting your whole time on an airplane, rather then enjoying your time.

Now for the sightseeing outside.  There is a few resort that fit your bill that have the tours actually built into the cost of the total trip.  Plus they have all the drinks,  food and sometimes tips too.

Having been in the travel business for over 20 years I have come to appreciate the all inclusive resorts.  One spot, one price, sit back and relax.  Lets face it wedding planning can be stressful.  It is just nice to sit on a beach and ask for a drink, with no threat of a bill at checkout.  Now my husband is an accountant so I do love traveling this way, but that was not always.  We did not go to our first one until 8 years ago a Sandals, now we have been to all but two, however that is not the only company to go with.  There is much more out there.  And I do have pictures from traveling to them.  If you would like email me at lindsay@tripsdowntheaisle.com and I can send them to you.

I would love to give you a hand because there are resorts out there that you are going to love!

Take Care,
Lindsay
