Experience:
Licensed trainer for over 30 yrs. Have had lots of winners in all different types of races - from bottom claimers to top quality stakes winners. My best money winner was Aristocratic Cross (multiple stakes winner). My best claiming horse was Navajo Family, winner of 12 races in one year. I still enjoy racing a modest stable of horses each year.

Question hi my names Haley and i have a few questions to ask you about the horse racing business. first of i have the horses and barn and roundpin. all i need to now is if its the right horse and how to train him. he is not a thourobred. He is a paint. and even though they say they aren't the brightest I've seen alout of speed come from him and wanted to see how he took to the track. please e-mail me back and thank you so very much
Answer hi Haley -- you will have to gallop him or rope him abut 2 1/2 miles a day in order to get him fit to race. he will have to have some gate works and get a starting gate card in order to start in a race. i always train a horse for 3 months before their first race. i have trained many a horse in a 60 ft round pen full of sand and have had many winners .hope this helps you ED HESS
