Subject: urgent filly race stakes

hi i have a 2 years filly in mexico, Pat kaut this saturday works 7 furlong its very tired, 30 september she will race a stakes in 7 furlongs i have 3 weeks to train her, she ran 31 August 7 furlong, she came last, horrible ride, started first, finished last. How should i train her to make a good race...

hi well i am not sure why she was tired after the 7 fur work out??? and you said she raced 7 fur started first ran last but a awful ride. have you checked her breathing??? not knowing your fillie. it would be hard to tell you why she is not working or running well. does she run with blinkers?? 2 yrs old do get shin problems and also have polips in their throat sometimes. i would have your vet check her for those 2 things to see if she has any problems. some fillies do not like a lot of training and will run better with a mild training program. i have mentioned a few things for you to check on hope this helps you thanks ED HESS
