Horse Racing - Horse tying up

Expert: Don Boddie - 4/17/2009

Question
My horse is tying up continually, is there any medication I can give to prevent this? I live in the UK.

Answer
Hi Colin,
You mention that this is happening 'continually' so I think you should consult a local vet rather than take advice from the other side of the world.
If this is a regular problem then you will need to identify what is causing the problem rather than just look for a quick fix.
Good luck,
Don Boddie
