I am trying to find out information about a racehorse in the UK called Petingo. Have you heard of him?

I know a little bit about him. He was a miler in England in the '70s ('60s?) that had a reasonably successful stud career. I believe he sired a colt named Troy that had some success a decade or so back. I may recall that he either raced or spent some stud time in Japan, but that may not be correct. Sorry I can't tell you more - I've heard of him but he wasn't a major star in Britain. I don't really remember that much about him.
