Question
Hi, I recently bought a four year old mare, and I had a question regarding grooming: Her mane is very pretty, except, about halfway down her neck, the mane splits and the rest of the mane lies on the other side. So half of her mane is on the left, and half is on the right. Is there anything I can do to make all of her mane lie on the left side?

Answer
Braid it 1" or less in thickness each.  Start with a wet mane and braid it.  All of it except where the saddle goes.  Depending on the mane's texture and condition redo every 2 days to one week.

You could always get one of those Pajama things for horses. It goes over the head and neck. Braid it or not and then put one on over night. Repeat it every night.

That's the best I got...
