I just wanted you to know that Sarah is so on the number with this.
I myself have been nervous on Galloping since my new horse is from the track and has amazing racing bloodlines including War Admiral and Northern Dancer and Storm Bird just to name a few. My wife always wants to race me but I honestly am was afraid on letting my TB go. I finally was falling way back one day and not knowing what her trick from the track gave her the command and we shot out like a rocket and passed my wife who originally was about 15 horse lengths ahead and flew past her and down the field. It was a rush and yes I did not know what hit me but it was amazing. I would take everything Sarah has said and follow her guidance because that is exactly what I do when I gallop and she is great on describing what to do regarding turns etc. Don't be scared and just enjoy the wind. I myself tuck in and put my feet a bit forward for my own support which also allows me to keep my heels down just incase you need to make a quick stop or something pops out of know where. As if you are on a trail and you come across people or wildlife etc.
