Question Hello, I am having hard time finding the right bit for my horse, he was used as western trial horse for 12 years and now, after having western curb bit in him mouth does not respond to my D-ring snaffle bit. What do you recommended I try? He does great on tern just takes a few seconds to come to the halt. It's like he can't really feel the bit.
thanks so much for your highly needed advice.

Answer hi oxana,
well he has a harder mouth because of the curb bit. i would recommend just using a solid english bit in him since that is what he is used to. you can try a twisted wire snaffle in him with full cheecks as well. also get him used to verbal commands more. that way you can help teach his mouth to be soft again. good luck
